The North Carolina Biotechnology Center’s Regional Development Grant (RDG) supports economic development initiatives in the life sciences. The goal of the program is to build capacity through collaborative projects and to provide a foundational resource for economic growth that the community could not have achieved without NCBIOTECH funding.
The program is open to a broad range of project ideas within targeted focus areas. Further information about the RDG program and focus areas can be found at www.ncbiotech.org/rdg.
Funding Details
• Up to $75,000 can be requested.
• A 50% match is required.
• Projects must be completed within a 12-month period.
• Preproposals are required.
Who May Apply
Any North Carolina-based, non-profit organization is eligible to apply, such
as economic development organizations and institutions of higher education.
Preproposal Deadlines
• June 6, 2012; October 3, 2012; and February 6, 2013
• All deadlines are at noon.
