My husband, Jim, and I drive a 2012 Nissan Leaf and are willing to showcase the vehicle at green events. I also work for Eaton Electrical and we manufacture level 2 and 3 car charging units.
What opportunities or resources are you seeking?
Meeting other people interested in electric vehicles, solar power and recharging stations.
Will you or you husband be able to make it to our EV Committee Meeting at Land-of-Sky Regional Council next Thursday? We would love to have more input from EV owners on how to prepare WNC for electric vehicles.
We are looking for more representation from EV owners on our Asheville Area EV Committee. We have some events coming up in March and I think you could add a valuable perspective to our discussions. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks
Brian

Many thanks to Frank Jarvis of Hunter Nissan for educating us on all the features of the Nissan Leaf. We met Frank at an EV event held at my workplace, Eaton Electrical, in Dec 2011. First chance to test drive a Leaf. Talk about impressive - wow! Frank is extremely knowledgeable on all the features on the Leaf. Also, thank you Eaton and Brian Taylor, Regional Planner for Land-of-Sky Regional Council, who did an excellent job of bringing together EV owners and their vehicles, hybrid vehicle owners and their cars, prospective owners, Bio Wheels bikes, Chevy Volt and a thing of beauty, the Tesla!
